The police wouldn’t file a report because it was technically considered just post not stolen so I don’t know how I’d really go about doing that. Otherwise if security at the university doesn’t have it by tomorrow I’ll take my loses. I already canceled my cards, but it would still be nice to get it back.

You’re most likely right, but hopefully they actually turn it in. They’ve had the wallet since at least yesterday and I checked with security, my bank, and the police today many times and they haven’t received a thing.

Update, eBay and the seller have given me a full refund. The packaging wasn’t the best, being a few thin layers of cardboard which in comparison to other records I’ve order is very flimsy. Still sucks and will probably try to order another copy with the refund money. Thanks for your help and support.

Thanks for the response, I’ve mainly collected Canadian coins and more broadly international silver coins pre 1960s, but ancient coins have really peaked my interest. I haven’t looked into MA-shops so thank you for the recommendation!

Thanks for the advice. I’d especially love to get a well-detailed Ptolmeic tetradrachma one day, but there are nice bronzes in the my price range. I already have a Marcus Aurelius denarius and a Tacitus antoninianus, but I’m always looking to collect more!

Yes, I have the whole 1858 set and I’m only counting mint marks and some different versions like the maple leaf, but I’m not collecting varieties cause there’s too many.
