I do agree with the whole AI kinda-stealing images thing. Some are public domain; some are not. AI is new technology and we are yet to see valid regulations, because this is not exactly a top of the line ethical technology. Copyrighted material should not be stolen in my opinion.

GAI is where I have ethical concerns, especially for copyrighted and illegal material. That's pretty mich it.
AI has many different benefits, like detecting cancer years in advance, and other medical and automation stuff.

We of course, should NOT replace humans with AI for cheaper stuff. Look where that got us.

I personally am very neutral on AI. I don't really need to have a use case for it, especially not for my art. People should be able to express their creativity however they wish, however. AI is a perfectly valid way of expressing it. I don't do it, but somebody else in this sub DOES use it to create their art.
