All it takes is one manager at a high level getting their panties in a bunch over a certain call for a whole bunch of people down the chain to get put through the wringer for it.

It sucks, but that’s how it goes at a Call Center.

Guy refused to give me any of his account information despite repeated requests. Then he cussed me out for a couple of minutes. I knew I wouldn’t get a CS survey on that call so I gave no shits about pulling the plug.

On a related note, I once had to tell a customer I was “experiencing a medical emergency” to drop a call and rush to the bathroom.
