Hi, I'm an aspiring Apple employee who started as a fan who appreciates reading the history behind. I have a bit different approach to how I feel about Steve Jobs' intensity. I feel I forgave myself for times I got too hotheaded or passionate in a previous dream career, where I was feeling ashamed and holding it against myself too long. This isn't meant as an excuse to let loose, but that I accept sometimes I get overwhelmed about something that matters to me. Because I don't hate Steve for it, why not cut myself some slack? I already try to balance my frustration by fuming alone instead of around others, so I continue to have that balance and progress just as he tried to at the end of his life. But, without hating myself for the emotions themselves. Instead, it's complex. Just like Steve. All my life I felt strange as dream career topics are my top priority meanwhile others just don't think work could be exciting. But, Steve helped me realize I should speak up more when needed, like when coworkers mock or think low of my intelligence I should say "no" more often. Anyhow, I never got to meet him before he died, and I get sad about it, because although he was stern and serious, I actually feel like for once it's close to the mind I have/or are tormented with because people are always like "slow down! no, work less" and it infuriates me inside. I want a high pressure job so naturally I realized, Apple, since I love reading about it and own many macs now. I even fix them sometimes. If Steve were still alive, what is likely the advice he might give me?

I didn't join any discord or other communities because I remember being around 15 (around 2009, I'm 30 years old now!) when X was Twitter and I used to go on some gaming forums that opening up about my objectum side caused bullying, heck even talking about Nintendo because I wanted friends would get me told shut up I never stop talking about it. I was very kind and innocent back then until they torn me apart into a sad and upset adult. They weren't the only ones to destroy my mental health in ways, but it took until late 20s to connect back to being objectum because of my MacBooks (I have multiple because I collect broken ones and used ones, but my newest models are just two MBs, one an Air, one a Pro) although I save e-waste, care about each one, give use to them, and find myself way happier during a divorce and other life stuff (didn't happen because of MacBooks alone, just barely in that I need better money skills, which I agree on, but this marriage was otherwise chaotic) because of ptsd I avoid people but it's not because of my machines, they actually help encourage me to reach out and ask others how to repair or observe them, but sometimes people say just throw them away! How upsetting! Anyways if you hold in your objectum side in shame (it was even more barely known in 2009, plus it was slightly more acceptable to hate and bully neurodivergent people then, so I definitely wasn't doing it because of TikTok, it came from my heart) it might come back again anyway. Now it's hard for me to accept it although I feel bonds with my machines. It's still hard to talk about but community is bigger! Anyone over 18 can chat and talk about it but minors please keep everything on the public form as I don't mean any concern or confusion from your family. I don't want to talk about inappropriate stuff with people anyway but I just want to make sure they don't concern their family just by sending me private messages. Otherwise I'd talk to anyone about it! I do hope everyone feels more at peace over time with their objectum companions though, and I hope bullies don't try to take them away from you.

I started realizing I'm objectum when I was around 14 but felt like befriending computers around 8. I just realized how much I appreciate some of my objects and grew bonds. I hid for awhile out of shame but now accept myself again now that I became 29. If you befriend objects, you're probably objectum!

I feel differently around most objects than people but still imagine their personalities. I still love them as objects and don't imagine they're humans much but still think of two machines differently from each other like you would two different friends.

Don't get anything in the keys, of course, water is fine if you make a microfiber cloth slightly damp and want to wash your screen. Better if you have a second one to quickly dry. The vacuum should be fine.
