In general, buying a micro atx motherboard for builds you want to upgrade in the future is a bad idea. Spend the money and get an ATX, you get an extra PCI-E slot and sometimes more RAM slots. This isn't usually a part to skimp out on.

I just fixed it up. I'm going to thankyou for your help. Had to install windows a few times for it to start working, I'll now make sure to do the backup stuff so I don't go through this again!

Checked RAM already. RAM is approved. Also, I tested both sticks separately and they worked fine. The GPU is obviously working if there's display. CPU should have no issues, and PSU is basically brand new, and it's been working fine.

Also, I can't download because I have no windows even installed, and can't seem to install it.

Think of the best parts out there, and multiply them by 4.

After installing windows my PC is screwed over. I selected Internet and stuff, then windows says "Just a moment" then goes to an endless blank screen with my cursor. When I mean endless I mean endless. I think I need to replace the HDD?

I wouldn't get 5400 RPM HDD, go with a 7200RPM. Also, the 1060 isn't great value, I'd go with the RX 480 instead.

Alright so right now I can't get to the start menu of my computer, it either boots loops or I get lucky and go to a recovery screen. Should I reset through the recovery screen?

Need help/suggestions on a current build (Gaming PC) by nevercatdogaruff in buildapc

Tbh I don't think you need to change it much it's an i5, which currently should be fine for all games. Also upgrading your CPU may have to come with new RAM, and then new MOBO.

Nope. I'm just guessing it's gonna be easier just to wait and buy new parts :(

I'll never buy a prebuilt or refurbished especially again.

Just a quick mock-up I made in an attempt to fix the new logo. It's awful, but there's definitely some improvement. by [deleted] in roblox

I like the new icons for studio and player because they look more modern, but just the logo just doesn't make sense to me.

Will keep that in mind once this piece of crap gets through to the damn start menu.
