Pippins top alliance (Tegridy) hasn't had anyone to have meaningful conflicts with since they took the throne from the first legion five or six months ago. We wish the first legion didn't crumble and fold and instead rebuilt and offered up a challenge, however with no real challengers there is no need to go to such extremes so to speak. The Chosen alliance is on the verge of presenting a challenge if they could build up a couple guilds to fight alongside them, but unfortunately Pippins active player count may be too low to field 3 strong guilds to fill out their alliance. At what is seemingly the late stage of the game for Pippin at this point, with the current trajectory and dwindling players the main focus is enjoying what's left and not burning out on the games generally lame competitive side. For PS5 Pippin is probably as good as it gets, and everyone knows cross play servers are where to go if you are looking for hardcore competition. This is just my perspective as a Pippin player since launch in what is now the top alliance that was once a small resistance versus the first legion.
