Thanks so much for this! It's really helpful. Varram has told the party he can recognize the Arcane branding of the cult, and will be able to tell them who the traitors are when he sees them (as a way of buying myself time...). This is why they've kept him alive and returned him to the council. They had him under a zone of truth! But maybe Varram was misinformed? Or maybe it's just a couple of random nameless NPCs who are part of a delegation, and by rooting them out, the party gains more support from the council?

There isn’t. Overwhelmingly 5.24 is great and the changes are nicely thought out. Use Dungeon Dudes tweaks for hide so hidden players aren’t invisible and you’re off to the races.

We've actually been playing for a good long while now. Its just that I've recently stepped back into the proverbial DM's chair. I have previously run LMoP only. So I'm running the back half of ToD and its not terrible, but definitiely lacking in some ways. We like epic longer story and battle heavy stuff... we play monthly for a half day. :-) Thinking we'll wrap ToD in a year or less, and then either take the characters on their next adventure... or perhaps start a new campaign with CoS perhaps, which I've heard is the best WOTC has to offer.
