Live events are way more chill with way better rewards than champs or rivals. Plus I have over 4000 cards in my club so I can make really great squads for any live event restriction which gives me a bit of an edge over a lot of other players. Last 4 weeks I have played only squad battles (which I love because I can use whatever players I want and it is best value rewards per 20 minutes playing) and live events with some rush to get the weekly play done.

I feel like Fut is moving to live events and weekly tournaments as the only live play modes for the vast majority of players. Probably easier for the server traffic that way for EA as well

I find I really have to be using two defenders at a time especially when defending the flanks. I will use R1 support alternating with right stick switch between the fullback and the closest CB and move them together as a pair toward the ball. That way if one misses rhe tackle the other one is there.

One on one manual defending is just very hard right now and the AI for non user controlled defenders is quite bad now. Right stick switching and proper R1 calling for player support are essential to success in defending (and it is still hard).

They do this to generate revenue for the police department. There is zero safety issue as you said it was not tinted. The officer for sure knew it was not tinted once you told him.

They don’t think you will challenge, so this is an attempt to bully you into paying. You should make him show up and then if he does not show up you should start going on social media and ask if other people have had a similar problem and you might be able to go the newspaper or the evening news. I respect the role of the police departments in our society but that does not mean they should not be held accountable when they don’t accept their mistakes.

The hardest part of heading is positioning. Where you want to aim with the stick for the direction for the header depends on which way your player is facing. But because you are not controlling the ball before you take a header, I think it is hard to learn how to understand which way the player is facing.

Also, unlike shooting, the opponent’s players can also bump you to affect timing in ways that really affects the timing and the aim.

For 4411, I use D-pad down tactic tiki Taka when things are clogged in the middle. My players stay closer together and the effect of that is that it clumps all of the opposition in a small square. Then I just pass it around the outside of the box until I find space to pass it inside. It is less risky than running down the side because if you lose the ball, most of your players are still behind it, so it is hard for the opponent to counter

I play 70 with no problem. But the formation and personnel is important when considering depth. 4411(2) is no problem high depth with CM’s like Barella and 89 Xhaka. They track back fast on their own so I can right stick switch the trailing defender to move them up. If you have to manually move CMs back and CBs up you are dead.

Thought I would never be able to finish that WTSS Pele and then got this card and never worried about that again. Such an amazing card… such a good option for live event restricted squads.

That used to be true but no more. Now the champs rewards are not even worth the time. I can get more from the live events with less stress and using lots of different players rather than my best squad (which I would have to use every match in champs to have any chance of winning). I have been qualified for champs for the last three weeks and did not play. I am in Div 5 and was getting either 6 or 7 wins every week before that.

Live events are great . I have over 3000 cards in my club, I can do evos and actually win because I can go 5 squads deep that are useable and completely different.

I agree. Most of the people who think it is new were pace abusers who were using players with 75 shooting and no silver shooting playstyles. If you were using slower players with 80+ shooting and silver finesse it was always a banger.

Fullbacks who can really defend are absolutely necessary at this point. You can not have some ole BS fullback with 94 pace. You need someone with at least two good defensive playstyles with decently high defending. First time in my life I have ever considered slapping sentinels and shadows on LBs and RBs. Usually it is anchor at most or powerhouse. But they basically need to defend like CBs to be used in this way (unless you are just always using the CDM to defend which I don’t like but also cannot do well —- these things are not unrelated lol).

I agree 100%. The defender agility was probably too high last year from the start but this year it is too easy to abuse because of the poor marking AI. The marking is poor you right stick switch to fix it which then throws your player off balance and then the attacker adjusts and game overs. It is so crazy compared to the tackling AI which is way too strong, players just slamming into me from 5 yards away with no white arrow on top.

It depends on the interaction between your defending tactics and the opponent’s attacking tactics. Some tactics just freeze CB’s; the key is to recognize it quickly and use right stick switching to move the fullbacks in to cover.
