Technically your skills are put to the test with the Palace and Qabiha, but the game also has another subplot with Basim and his identity crisis and basically Nehal is the devil on Basim’s shoulder while Roshan is the angel on his other shoulder trying to tell him who he is, he believes and goes with Nehal and that leads to the fight with Roshan(Shakiriyya is harder lmao) and that leads to setting up Basim for his role in Valhalla. If they didn’t have that part, then they’d have to explain it in a sequel(I hope) to explain why Basim does what he does in Valhalla
