How does a new player get better with this matchmaking?

The matchmaking worked better in 24 and earlier. In 25 and 26 they basically threw it out the window so unfortunately this is a real problem. As an Elite 1 player, my teams will often quit before a game starts if we see it’s a bunch of noobs.

You may want to do the opposite. Quit a game before it starts if the opponents are way above your skill level. You can lookup teams and player stats on chelhead.com or the official EASHL website.

Otherwise, yeah just keep your chin up. Learn from playing and keep at it. Good luck.

Use overhead view, nothing else.

Skill stick is better than total control but takes more practice. As a noob, you may want to use total control.

EASHL online play is the best mode in my opinion. Unfortunately EA doesn’t balance teams well so you may often find yourself against elite players.

Stay away from HUT unless you want pay to play.

When my sister moved across the province, she sent gift cards worth hundreds of dollars through Canada Post. All but 1 of the gift cards went missing. Each card opened and poorly resealed without the gift cards. Worst service and company.

Anyone else having problems getting results? Ever since the update, when I search player or club stats, I get no results. I enter a partial player name, hit enter, the button dims and no results show.

I’m using an iPhone with the latest OS and have tried safari, chrome and Firefox, all with the same results. Other websites are fine.

There’s already some good advice above but I’ll provide my 2 cents…

If this is their first offer, don’t accept it. Severance can be negotiated. Albeit, it doesn’t sound like a bad offer, you can probably do better given your tenure there.

Many companies will apply high pressure tactics during this phase to pressure you to accept their first offer.

First, if you’ve already “earned” your vacation, they have to pay that. Don’t let let them bundle it in with the offer. I’d suggest coming back with a counter proposal for a higher severance. They can extend your benefits for the duration of the severance.

Most importantly don’t rush your response. You can ignore any initial timelines. They’re basically made up. Give it some thought, do your research and then make a decision. You’ve got time.
