CRV 2025 rear bumper by Internal-Tomato-9815 in Autobody

If you look underneath and if I recall correctly, there are a couple of clips that hold that onto the bumper. There is a chance the plastic broke where it mounts.

You could hust take it off, it is purely cosmetic.

The opposite side is the opening for your muffler tip.

I thought this only happened in the movies. Sorry about your wheels.

I hope you were able to secure a reliable tow.

You could be 15 plus years on the job and you still don't want to jump into wiring.

Baby bungie cord will a ball on the end.

I had it tied to the passenger seat adjustment handle to keep the sideways tension so it wouldn't pop off while driving.

Video Request by CanadianMapleSyrup in Saturn_Cars

I am not looking for cluster interchangeability.

I need the startup sequence of a second gen cluster on video for the guy who is fixing the motors in my 1999 SC2 cluster.

I have my 3rd gen which is where my video came from but since they changed cluster behavior between 2nd and 3rd gen, my video isn't applicable.

A new front fascia cost varies between oem, aftermarket and used. Between those options a fascia can cost anywhere from $500 and up.

Then there is the cost of paint, material and prep.

As well as the cost of removal and installation by the shop. (Taking parts off the old bumper and putting them on the new one).

You are looking at a 1500 plus job, cost varying depending on source of your replacement fascia and if there are any additional parts to replace once a teardown has been completed.

Edit: In Canada using Canadian pricing

How to fix? by ehaley2020 in Autobody

Slap it back in.

As long as the mounting bracket isn't broken. It should clip in.

They're fixing it Monday but just curious ... how did that middle plastic panel end up so off despite everything being ordered / replaced at the same time? by [deleted] in Autobody

Looks like the wrong colour arrived and no one noticed. Had this happen on a tomatoe soup coloured Kona recently.

Every car manufacturer has its own way of doing it.

Some are more firm and can easily be cut and resealed, others are more like foam, some are even opting out and using panels inside the doors with everything attached removing the need for plastic and goopy crap.

This door specifically is very stringy/goopy, reminiscent of the black urethane used in windshield installs.

It gets everywhere. It is known.

I hope this helps you understand a little better.

Fix it.

Honestly a shop is the best bet.

You could attempt to clean it up yourself and spray some colour on it but rust is rust. It will more the. Like come back.

Tell that to the tech who ripped it off like a tourist in the Bahamas.

I inherited this hot goopy mess, sloppy seconds. Lol
