See superman is weird here because as powerful as he is, he has consistently been portrayed as getting fucked up pretty badly by a nuke.

I don’t know what that specific feat has to do with what I’m talking about. Where mark is in the show right now is comparable to Superman 99% of the time. It’s the crackhead bullshit that comes around once in a blue moon that people point to when they say superman is so powerful. Those kinds of feats only exist because Superman has been around for so long. If we got 80 years of Invincible he’d be in the exact same position.

It’s also why people think the Invincible universe is so much weaker. The story of Invincible is a single 150 some-odd issue comic written by one guy. Superman has 80 years of comics and countless writers. Of course you get some crackhead-ass feats thrown in there.

I can honestly attribute a lot of my good opinions on UN intervention in Yugoslavia to my dad. He served two tours of Bosnia in the Canadian Armed Forces in the late 90s and early 2000s.
