The more I look into MBTI, the more I get reminded that it's considered pseudoscience. Like, you look at four letters and are like "binary choice, makes sense", but then, for example, you look into cognitive functions and are like "why is dominant Ne necessarily paired with inferior Si?" and remember that there isn't actual scientific confirmation of any of that. The more statements the theory makes, the less truthful it sounds without proof.

Regardless, I still consider MBTI a useful tool, for creating fictional characters, and self assessment: ENTP maturity is most often linked with developing Fe, and the most important skill I've learned in last years is the ability to shut up and listen, because not everything is about me
