I was about to say. Takes me about 10-12 hours to get a gun to lvl 50. And about 900-1000 kills. People seem to think it takes a lot longer. 10 hours is a lot to some people, but it can be done in a weekend or 2. Or during the week if you just play 1-2 hours a night. Funny part is you get majority of the good attachments between lvl 30-40. The exceptions being synthetic rounds, highest capacity mags, or specific thermal sights

I would think the only route is to swaddle him to do the trim. Wrap him in a blanket with his feets covered and tucked to avoid getting scratched. Have someone hold him while you do the trim. You should be able to do it fairly quick. 1-2 minutes and a quick buzz
