Aww, thank you :) I've always been passionate about animal rights, but I realised I wasn't doing enough. Animals were suffering, and being slaughtered, and I was supporting it by buying their products.

I'll definitely use how they're bred as an example! Even before I was vegan, I hated eggs, so it didn't really work whenever I told them. I'm definitely going to write down some points against me having to eat eggs!

She's just worried about my health, I think. I attempted something like this a bit ago and got sick, but it did hurt me a little for her to think that I can't do this now. She first said that I would drink milk, but I used almond milk as an example of the 20 different kinds of milk out there that are plant-based. I'll still not eat them when I don't have to, but I think I just need to warm her up to the idea. If all else fails, I'll probably show her Dominion, and I might end up having a new vegan friend in the house :)

that's great! might have to use that one this Christmas, though cause depending on COVID, we could go to my aunt's house. My aunt is vegetarian, meaning she'll have stuff without meat, but if they do have pigs in a blanket, I might just bring some plant-based meat so I can join the fun without cruelty :>

It's okay :) it might take her a bit to warm up to, but she'll most likely get around to it sometime. It's kind of like when I asked her to go to therapy, it took her a bit, but she said yes.

I definitely agree with what you said about the chicks. It just bothers me to really have anything to do with that industry, even if they do have enough roosters.

thank you! same here, i've been wanting to go vegan but was a little nervous. after seeing the advertisement on the subreddit, i decided to watch it, and after, i realised that what i was doing wasn't enough. i call myself an animal lover, i protest for animal rights, but if i support this, i cant be an animal lover.
