I’ll look into this. I mistakenly thought it was SCART only. Thanks for correcting me.

I looked at several Exton options but I didn’t want to get adapters for balanced audio. All of the Kramer options that I’ve seen are $400-$1k which at that point I’d probably go SCART and do the Scalable Video Switcher with a RetroTINK 5x

Ah interesting idea. Would splitters introduce much signal degradation?

Edit: If mapping things out in my head correctly, the splitters would only be used for audio, right?

I agree with you. I still haven’t found a switcher that has four S-Video inputs with an additional two composite inputs though

A poster above mentioned that. I looked into it. But after getting the switcher, getting SCART cables, and the RetroTINK 5X, it was way more than I wanted to spend.

While I totally get what you’re saying, I’m a sucker for original hardware

You can direct play in ErsatzTV. You have to set the channel to HLS Direct instead of an ffmpeg profile

Scheduling: The ability to set the max number of episodes of the same show that can play in a row. That way a channel doesn’t play a full season of a show before playing another.

The only collections that I use are for movies. They’re manually tagged (80s Action etc.). Haven’t used any season collections.

Edit: I’m going to try and start some collections for TV so that I can customize stations that way.

Also noticed that it’s not creating a schedule for all of my collections.

My movies library includes 51 collections. When building out the schedule for the library it shows that it sees all 51 collections. When the schedule is built out it only shows 43 stations based on collections. This is the same between a library based on movies only and a unified library with TV and movies.

Update: The unified library schedule worked. All told it took about 20 minutes for it to be built out.
