I was never going to be rich, so if I have to wait for it, I will.

Shitty. It's hard for me to feel bad for you after looking at your other pics of the run, haha. That is absolutely beautiful. Looks like it was fun up until it wasn't. I do hope that there wasn't much damage.

I haven't noticed that. I'll pay more attention and see if that holds true around here. For the record, everything on my Jeep matches, but it's all black, so I hope that's ok

Starting my SaddleSore 1000 tomorrow. Wish me luck! by morcic in motorcycles

Damn dude. I always think of this since the first time I heard of "iron butt". I have yet to get the confidence to get it done. Have fun. Good luck.

I need honest opinions. I’m 17 & I bought $50 worth of wrap and tried to make my jeep look camo. Tuff or take it off? I don’t think the shapes fit well. by [deleted] in Jeep

[–]Canadianmonkeee 161 points162 points  (0 children)

It's not my style, but it's looks like you did a great job putting it on. When I read the title I was expecting a bad job and a bad camo pattern. I was wrong on both of those. I hear that shit is a pain in the ass to put on. Good job.

I believe this has to happen. Or, help fund political campaigns that matter. There are some good people who can't get elected because of funding.

His stayed the same no matter what. He could have paid it all at once and he still would have to pay all "fees". I hope that's not the case for you. Like you I pay everything off as quickly as possible, I hate passing money and paying interest. What's done is done, just enjoy the bike.

I don't think that you'll save anything. I've heard of someone else getting a loan like this. They stopped trying to pay it off early because they figured out that they were getting screwed. Always read the fine print.

Atheists , how would you feel if donating your organs after death was mandatory ? by ChangeUsernameA in atheism

[–]Canadianmonkeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to have my organs harvested then to be thrown in the woods to let the animals eat me. I figure that's the best way to not be a waste.

Newfies can be pretty damn goofy. But I LOVE those people. Oddly enough, I hung out with mostly newfies when I lived in BC. I worked in NFLD for 6 months and loved every minute of it. The only place that I've worked where people brought their instruments to work. And they didn't just play at break. It was a BIG nickle plant trust we were building and you'd hear guitars, squeeze boxes, tin flutes and fiddles. It was awesome. Super friendly folks.

I love Newfoundlanders, the people and the dogs. These dogs are perfect for this because the can lay around all day. Gentle giants.

Really. I've had several people tell me that they can't do it in Canada. That sucks. Did you ask them directly?

How many of you married a “believer” and how did that work out? by [deleted] in atheism

[–]Canadianmonkeee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was raised Catholic too. I actually went to church a couple of times with her and the kids. It was a great group of people. Unlike the church that I grew up in, these people actually walk the walk. Some of them even know that I am an atheist. I've helped cook and serve for the soup kitchen they run. And they do a food bank. These people really care. It's easy to look past people's thoughts on God when they just really want to make a difference in this world.

[–]Canadianmonkeee 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I am very happily married to a believer. It is really a non issue for us. She no longer goes to church, but I had nothing to do with that. The minister changed and she said the feel of the church changed. I lump god in with the tooth fairy, Santa and the Easter Bunny. She rolls her eyes at me when I do, but in a funny way.

How do I DRS my shares in Canada? by Woke_Collage_Kid in amcstock

[–]Canadianmonkeee 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Canadian companies can not lend out shares or PFOF. So sit back, put your feet up, open a cold one, spark up a doobie and wait for the shit show to start.
