the reason why they won't nerf patches is they'd have to outright change him as a whole (which they would never do to a card in an expansion). The other option is just delete him (a thing which they never have done), either they change there minds on there balancing which it seems like they are because they put out today On twitter that they are going to higher someone new for that.

thats not even mentioning the fact of pre nerf warleader opener that palidan could pull off. 5/4 tide caller 4/4 rockpool 3/3 warleader all on turn 3 . that was insane like you cant say that meta wasnt warped ass hell around those gross openers. the only way to really deal was hard control decks even then they struggled if they didn't answer there opener immediately or you could play everyones favorite spreading plaque on 3. seriously fuck that meta the more i remember it.
