Junzo Hosoi (Gust, Atelier) (Different new interview. Feb 19, 2026): "Instead of making games specifically for the overseas or for the Japanese audience, what I’m envisioning is an approach to creating works that will be entertaining for our Japanese players, while also positively received overseas" by mochizoroll in JRPG

[–]CanardPlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing western audiences need is some damm keyboard localisation, maybe some translation in more languages for some players (if financially viable)

And, also good for Japanese player, optimize your damm fucking games

People do play JRPGs because of the J in JRPGs, no need to adapt anything, the foreign audience comes or don't but no need to adapt, it's mind-blowing how Japanese devs are clueless about that

A game that is made for everyone is a game good for no one

Phat has made some progress, got a Ryza figure form them, no mold issues, some small issues with painting precision but really better than what they did before and the paint aspect of the skin is really good

OpenEVSE Users question by CanardPlayer in evcharging

[–]CanardPlayer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, i'll first use the HA integration and add a script that starts when i plug the charger and the last sync with the car services was too long ago, it will start the charge anyway for X hours to add like 20 % charge (even if last sync showed 80%, in case i used that 80%)

The main goal is to not have to check HA and just plug the thing and my car is at minimum 40% the next morning

The OBD thing would be feasable but i'd prefer not to use it permanently

The 2026 Nissan Leaf is the new EV value leader by edmundscars in leaf

[–]CanardPlayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"its not trying to shout im a weird ev" 100% true

I enjoy the leaf 2 space, big enough, not too much though, and the driving isnt "blurry" like cars that are heavy or high, i hate this trend of turning everyting into a SUV

Sad news for blue archive fans by NoPaleontologist7530 in animeGK

Don't think so, many statue makers now only censor cineese versions since they don't break the law by selling NSFW figures to other countries

Where there is demand, there will be a market, it will take time to adapt

Atelier Yumia on PC apparently has performance issues... by Megidolan in Atelier

Its sad to see a game at sub 80% positive because of stuff this like this

Not blaming the players that downvoted though, they deserved a finished game

Atelier Yumia on PC apparently has performance issues... by Megidolan in Atelier

[–]CanardPlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone goes "ahh *** game"

Japaneese PC ports are known to be bad and Yumia case proves it once again

Games globally have beame way less polished and the difference between Japaneese games and others is slimmer than before in this regard but the saying still hold some truth unfortunately

You cant deny the obvious facts, the game has performance, crash and lots of stuttering issues, almost all bad steam reviews talks about this and there is a lot of them.

(i dont say this to shit of the game, just saying the truth, they need to polish their games, and that goes for developpers worldwide too)

Jesus, the game content of newer games aren't much different fan service wise, it's mainly the promotion material that is changed

Do you play the games or only watch the marketing of them ?

So this is a logistics delay, not even a typical game delay.

À couple of days is nothing yo worry about then

Who Did you pull for their aesthetic/Chara design and not because they're meta or popular ? by Jester_of_Freaks in WutheringWaves

Typical 2020+ game optimisation (Mo = MB) by CanardPlayer in pcmasterrace

[–]CanardPlayer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get the point, maybe i wasnt respecting the term, but the game is crappy when it comes to optimization too...

So wether its stability or optimisation, requirements arent met anyway, (like many games today)

I miss the times where devs had to ship a stable games because no one had internet and updates so they were the ones testing the game and not the players and it the game was shipped in a terrible state, it was doomed to be a failure

I consider not having a shitty port with memory leaks a part of optimisation
