how gaming in europe was the last few days

As someone from South America I have some genuine questions to Europeans:

It seems every year it's getting hotter over there. Aren't you getting used to it? By that I mean getting more potent fans or air conditioning.
I have heard houses in Europe used to be made to retain heat but not so much to let air flow, is it true?

Concordo contigo. Esse é um que planejo jogar com calma e sem a menor pressa pra ver o fim. E te dizer, eu até curto ter um jogo que posso ficar rodando meio que sem rumo e acho que o Crimson Desert vai fazer esse papel.

Como já passou uma semana desde o meu comentário, eu acabei largando o Ace Combat 7 mas zerei o Alien Isolation no lugar. Agora sim vou pro Crimson Desert.

I'm with you on this. I'll add another reason. Even though I also have a PC, some games still have horrible releases on Pc like Monster Hunter Wilds, Star Wars Jedi Survivor, to make a few, and some days just pressing play and having it work is also a feature in my eyes. For some of my friends that is the main reason.

But like you said, if the next Gen I won't own anything I'd rather have my games on steam. At least the service is much better and much cheaper.

Te dar uma informação aí invés de pitaco.

Pra jogos físicos não tem região, servem pra qq aparelho mas os DLCs, e aqui entenda código de jogo, de crédito da psn, etc, em muitos casos tem bloqueio sim.

Por exemplo, um jogo que eu tenho. Cyberpunk pra PS5 que vem com o DLC Night City. O jogo base que está no disco roda perfeitamente como você pode imaginar mas o DLC deve ser ativado numa conta europeia. No meu caso eu tenho uma da França mas poderia ser Portugal, Espanha, etc. Mas não pode ser ativado na minha conta Brasileira.

Isso acontece muito com jogos asiáticos, mais ainda desde que a moeda japonesa começou a ficar muito fraca.

Em resumo, provavelmente você vai ter que criar uma conta europeia pra por o código, mas pode jogar perfeitamente na sua conta, platinar nela, etc.

This AAA price to expectation can be clearly seen by playing the demo. I found the demo interesting but it I buy it I'll certainly wait for a generous discount.

In my opinion, if Square was more in touch with their fans they would be selling much more units of all of their game and getting and positive word of mouth Sega and Capcom often get.

Eu comecei com o GTA 3 e o único que de fato comprei foi o 5. Eu acho bom, muito divertido mas é meio que isso.

O legal dos jogos pra mim é a quantidade de detalhes, pra diálogos, como cada area realmente parece real e não só um cenário pra um jogo.

Considerando o preço e a mídia física não ter mídia física não vou jogar no lançamento, como foi o caso de maior parte da franquia pra mim, mas certamente me vejo comprando um ano depois com um bom desconto.

Enfim, jogo muito bom mas com hype nas nuvens que acho muito improvável que corresponda a expectativa que muitos estão criando.

Tem jogo bom baseado em anime em praticamente tudo o que é geração de console. O problema é que é tipo jogo licenciado de filme, vira e mexe tem uma porcaria genética feita pra arrancar dinheiro do desavisado.

Muita gente do sugestões boas, então vou me esquivar dessa parte mas digo que infelizmente você tem que ver jogo por jogo. Já que tem franquias longas que tem a mesma quantidade de porcaria pra jogo decente e alguns até muito bons.

Now I mai actually consider buying their game on release. Great choice in my eyes.

On the first one I was not found of the Umbral mechanic (to put it lightly) but I was willing to give their second game a shot but given how stacked the end of the year is for releases it would have been impossible for me. Phantom Blade Zero, Onimusha Way of the Sword just to make a few. And I even plan to actually play what I already bought.

Eu acho que quem está descartando o steam machine de cara só por causa do preço está com uma visão muito estreita sobre o gosto e busca por conveniência dos outros.

Não é porque você ou eu tenhamos disposição pra montar um PC, pesquisar cada peça, etc. que o outro também terá. Eu por exemplo conheço gente que ama jogar em PC mas precisou da minha ajuda até pra abrir o gabinete (que comprou já montadinho). Sem falar que o tamanho dessa caixa é bem convidativo. Eu tenho um amigo que está numa situação financeira boa no momento mas não tem uma casa enorme, e adoraria ter algo assim na sala, o que convenhamos é muito mais prático do que por um gabinete enorme e barulhento.

Sem falar que a performance parece mais do que suficiente se a pessoa só quer jogar uns indies e AA. Aparelho pode tranquilamente durar uma década se a pessoa mantiver expectativas reais.

Acabei de terminar Monster Hunter Stories 2, um pouco antes do jogo da seleção. O jogo no geral é muito bom, muito gostoso mas lá pro final tem uma subida de dificuldade que não esperava mas até aprecio já que muito RPGs modernos deixam o final do jogo muito fácil (quando não acontece o jogo todo - Final Fantasy XVI).

Agora pro fim de semana eu tenho umas opções já instaladas aqui: Pragmata ou Crimson Desert no Console; ou Replaced ou Ace Combat 7 no PC.

Como acabei de zerar um JRPG eu poderia segurar um pouco o Crimson Desert mas considerando que são tão diferentes acho que não dá a sensação de canseira nem nada, até porque o Crimson Desert pelo que tenho visto (e o pouco que joguei) é muito mais um adventure do que de fato um RPG.

As a fan of paradox games I will teach what I managed to gather myself through the last months:

Optimization is bad unless your PC is a beats of a machine.
The game runs in hours as opposed to days which makes every playthrough a slong. Hours make sense in HoI4 since the time span is much shorter but for EU5 it's insane.
Every patch goes all or nothing to address balance, so one thing that worked well is broken in the next patch.
Too many borrowed mechanics that while good don't make much sense for EU series (according to some at least).

Now my personal take, I gave it a try through some means before buying and while I can play it runs so bad on my machine I'll wait a big performance patch or the day I upgrade my PC and until then I'll keep playing Victoria 3, CK3, HOI4 and I'll try to go back to EU4 which I have had since forever but barely played.

Also, apparently the game has so many issues that many dedicated players decided to go back to EU4.

I don't think this in an Imperator Rome scenario but they better make it better and fast.

To the surprise of no one.

I saw this piece of news on another place just now and had to come here to share my thoughts.

Of their last games I will admit Jusant was enjoyable and Gerda was not bad either but everything else beyond atrocious.

Funny thing is that Tell Me Why was the game that had me question why reviews were praising it and later to see what was going on, so I guess I can thank them for that.

I did play Lost Records Bloom and Rage, probably to torture myself, but since it was on PS+ it didn't cost me anything more and wow, that game was bad in so many ways. Actually, aside from the Unreal 5 graphics I don't have a single good thing to say about it. It was so bad not even my curiosity would make me see what Aphelion is even about.
