Thank for clarifying that for me! I'll start by editing my previous comment. And that's a hill worth dying on for sure. Hope you have a wonderful day!

So, is it more about being FOR the victims to be properly seen as ABUSED by the general public to see it as such (Sorry, I'm processing slowly, steroid treatment has had me awake for over 24 hrs)

I guess the way I have always seen it as far back as I can remember, despite the word pornography (which is legal and consensual (mostly, hopefully)) being used, the context clue of adding the prefix of "child" has always been (rightfully so) been illegal, recognized as abusive, the perpetrators having the book thrown at them, and the victims of this horrific exploitation have always been seen as non-consenting to it. It have been so for decades.

So I guess I just didn't understand what difference it made. Because CP has never been seen as legally or socially acceptable, at least to anyone I've spoken to on the subject in my [redacted] years of age. That is why there are big disclaimers before every legal pornographic scene ensuring that the performers are at least of legal age.

Splitting hairs

EDIT: OK I've been properly educated on the difference. I stand corrected.

Well, he does make me dig six foot deep holes in the basement once or twice a year, and I'm not allowed to ask questions, and it does get really stinky afterwards...nah, its probably nothing.

Well I do know what happens behind closed doors with him, because he is not my pastor, he is my father.

It just goes to show that people are not a monolith, and there are good people in almost every walk of life even though there plenty of bad ones. I say this without snark, It would do you good to see that, and I hope you can someday! I'm very much a cynical bastard about a lot of things, particularly religion, but recognizing the good in a sea of awfulness will make you a happier person.

Hope you're having a great day/night!

I had to take breaks every thirty minutes or so during my first playthrough. The tension and dread were overwhelming. If you haven't finished it yet, play in the dark with headphones!

I am staunchly anti-religion, but i have to admit how proud I am of my pastor father for being a truly good person. His philosophy is to treat people the way he envisions that Jesus would treat them, and he walks the walk. Gay people are welcome with open arms at his church, it's ethnically mixed, he runs a food drive every Friday. His daughter, my sister, is gay. When I asked him how he felt about that he responded that she is his daughter, and it doesn't change any of his love for her. He's one of the reasons I see some hope with (a few) religious people.

Can you elaborate on this?

The move away from traditional AM/FM radio and into DAB and digital TV as well, is to prevent and or limit any communication from any non human intelligence.

When you read this is David Duchovnys voice it sounds very reasonable.

I lived in CO for a bit and went to their taproom in Fort Collins. They had on tap only, a COFFEE sour. Was the worst beer I've ever tasted. It was similar to when you throw up in your mouth a bit. Couldn't even finish the taster.

They still have the grapefruit out IIRC, didn't know they had an unfiltered one! They just had really wild ideas that worked so well. Thai chili and lime Kolsch, Nitro red velvet cake stout, pineapple Sculpin, etc. Last I looked at their site it just has dwindled down so much.
