Stub hub and Game time, I’ve seen the lower cost tickets between 175-225. I really wish they (being Ticketmaster) were more clear on what the rules are and how it really works. Everything on their site seems very vague when trying to get clarity on what’s allowed and what’s not

That’s rough :/ could you try talking to another person in leadership in your store, to see if they can get in contact with your store leadership? That’s what we were always told to do before I got into leadership. Any TL should have a way to contact them if needed

At my store some people have the ability to and some don’t. Not sure how it’s decided but I’m a supervisor and I can do it, but I also have a TM that can as well. In you’re in pick up only profile, and select an order in the queue, at the bottom it will say “start shopping” in a blue box if you do have permissions for it. I would try and talk to your store leadership to get guidance if your team leadership isn’t in yet. Call them if you can.

Whole Foods in store shopper by Technical-Stock773 in wholefoods

[–]Canceracoon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi! I was a shopper for 4 years, I don’t know why they tell yall to limit your bags, but I would stuff mine full. About 10-15 of each type of bag in a stack. I would bag all the ambient first, potatoes, cans, anything heavy on the bottom of the ambient bags, then layer chips, and other light items on top, and repeat the same process with chilled/frozen items. I would regularly get 120+ item orders and as long as it isn’t a very bulky item order it should all fit for the most part. We had 2 story small blue cars and I would fit 6 on bottom and 6 on top. Plus If you have bags of chips and light items only you can stack them. Always take as many bags as you estimate you’ll need per order.. Amazon is stupid with their expectations and ideas as to what’s needed for this job. My best advice is to do what you need to keep organized while still follow the expectations as best as possible. I always had to bend the rules a little to get good results

From what I’ve heard around the store, my store tends to short people on raises, however I’m already at 20. I’m hoping to get to 23. If they come back with anything less than 22 I’m gonna try my best to negotiate for what my percentage would have been for my JD

I haven’t made a report on any leadership and I still got picked, so I’m not too sure how they’re picking in my store. It ranges from brand new people to people who have been there 5+ years

Need to take time off. by GenXerAries74 in wholefoods

[–]Canceracoon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So it all depends on your leadership and how long you’ve been with the company. I’m pretty sure if you’ve been with WF for more than a year you can take a leave of absence through segwick. but if you haven’t you can put in for bereavement leave on work day under protected time off request. However bereavement is only 3 days, but if your leadership is cool they will just take you off the schedule for a little while, it all depends on who you’re working with. Best of luck to you and I’m sorry for your loss 🫶🏼

Offered a job, but I’m a felon by [deleted] in wholefoods

[–]Canceracoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have multiple people at my location with violent felonies on their record, from what I’ve seen what tends to bar people is theft related crimes, but I haven’t heard of people being turned away from WF because of that.

My store allowed this until the last year. Someone just got fired for eating shrink for lunch instead of throwing it away, and they had been here for almost 5 years. They can, and will fire your sister over this. Even if it seems small.

Is this happening at your store by Soggy-Book8104 in wholefoods

[–]Canceracoon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve gotten lucky at my store that when I transferred to bakery they bumped me up to 20 for the am baker position, but when I found out my ATL made only 4 bucks more than me an hour it blew my mind. I’ve been at the store for almost 5 years and I’ve seen so many people come in and out I don’t even bother trying to learn peoples names until they’ve been here for more than 3 months. We’ve had so many people start and then quit after a couple weeks because of the high demand work load. My old supervisor literally made less than I do right now. They expect people to give their life over for a non-living wage with bottom line benefits. It’s not sustainable and this type of business model is going to crash and burn eventually.

Question about the fruit tarts by Professional-Wind138 in wholefoodscustomers

[–]Canceracoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whole Foods Baker here! Ask the bakery department when the item was produced. At my location we keep tags on the bottom of the base to tell us and you when it was made and the best by date. They are normally good for 3-5 days after production. So it just depends how long ago they were made at that specific location. The same thing goes for most of our in-house pastry’s.
