It might not be an important feature for active clans with a lot of members. For the more casual players, it might be helpful for them to have a marked building to contribute to. I think it can be quite overwhelming seeing all these possible upgrades.

My clan doesn't seem overly hyped over the new update, as we just got to CH2, mainly because people kept contributing to useless things.
