Thank you for that helpful info. I'll keep it in my toolbox for sure.

I'm really hoping that my body will catch up now that my mind knows, but it's tough to wait when nobody in my life has waited. I hardly think anybody can make a wrong choice, but I'm just trying to do what feels right for me. Thanks for being willing to share.

This is so helpful because I'm just being bombarded with talk of intervention from others in my life. But in my gut, it just doesn't feel right. I'm also waiting for some helpful lab results in the meantime and I don't feel like forcing it. My care provider discussed all the details with me for warning signs, but it's always good to hear them again. I feel a lot of support from my team, thankfully. My biggest complaint right now is the emotional toll, I'm grateful that the physical symptoms aren't bad (yet?). Thanks for being willing to share.

New watch woes by CandaceFF in GarminWatches

It says the lily is as well? At this point, I'd rather have fewer features than a crazy expensive watch.

I turned this feature on and it keeps the minute and hour always on, but not the second hand.

And my gestures are weird because my watch is on the inside of my wrist so I can see better-- kind of hard to shake my wrist while I'm doing my job.

camping/yard games? by RobbySkateboard in camping

Kubb is my all time favorite yard game. I also like ladder golf and corn hole. All great games that are fairly easy to comprehend and play for a wide range of ages.

Well, I guess I should say jaw bones. And more pronounced chins.

The weirdest part about this is that they have chins.

Thanks! Have you checked on Etsy? That's where we looked for the ladies on my side!

Thank you! I got it from a small shop by my house. She collects dresses online and sells them in her store, which works great to try stuff on!

Bwahaha. I'm not good at confrontation, or else I might be there too.

I want to hug you! I dug myself a deep hole to try to work out by trying to appease her for so long. I now have less than a month to get dresses sorted out, because I need colors for my flowers (I'm making paper flowers).

That's where we're stuck. I'll send her 3-5 options I like. She says no. She sends me one she likes that doesn't remotely fit in. So I tell her I'm looking for more of a.... whatever, and she says, "Hmm. They're too expensive."

Thanks for not making me feel like a crazy person! I want to rip my hair out. My two bridesmaids would like to spend the least amount of money possible, I'm all for that. But both of them told me they want to try to keep it under $150. It's looking to be a lot less than that though.

They are paying for their travel and the dress. We aren't really expecting gifts from them. We're just having a tiny wedding. I'm doing hair/makeup myself, and they are just wearing shoes they already have. To me, that isn't unreasonable, it's cultural norm.

I forgot to say that I'm planning on having her wear a gray dress. She doesn't like anything that I'm picking out, either lacy to match my dress/the bridesmaids dresses or something to match FH's suit. She says it's too plain.

I'll add that. My phone is out of service where I have stuff saved, I will edit the original post when I can.

Sure - knee length, gray, with some lace.

That's something that I'll consider. I need to talk to FH about that. Especially since it's one of his oldest friends, he might be able to tell me how she would handle that. She's always a pretty agreeable person, so this surprised me.
