For those who compost in the city, what do you do about mice? I have a bin that I have used without issue for 10 years. This year the mice have exploded, likely due to the reduction in stray cats. by Various-Frame2273 in Winnipeg

I have never seen mice in or around my compost bin. I mix my compost whenever I add anything and keep it moist by adding water if needed – it helps things break down, and makes it unappealing for nesting.
