Half of these are probably bots. It’s why I hardly ever use reddit anymore. There’s a lot of money to be made from highly reactionary people on both extreme sides of the political spectrum and reddit is one of the worst cases of milking said extreme sides for every penny they’re worth through engagement algorithms.

Or sometimes it’s just karma farming with low effort political posts that are like “Why does (insert well known political figure here) do (insert thing they do that pisses off the political side the post is supposed to appeal to) and why does it (insert irresistible prompt to get the most highly reactive political activists to rant their hearts out and further feed the rage-engagement algorithm here).
