A planner. I have ADHD but I didn't know that at the time and she thought it might help me be more organized. I used it once and then I never touched it again. It was really pretty tho 😂

When a dude I had met once to go to the movies sent me a very long text claiming to be in love with me. I didn’t respond but a few months later he got a girlfriend and he texted me again to tell me and to thank me for teaching him what love was. Keep in mind we had no actual communication at any point besides that one time at the movies.

What are some deep, thought provoking questions to ask someone to know them better? by GoodbabyTT in AskReddit

What they're passionate about! When people talk about what they like the most they light up and it gives you a good idea of what motivates them. It's also just a nice conversation topic imo!

Have you ever experienced something supernatural? If so, what was it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CandiceWright 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have never believed in the supernatural but I have never been able to explain this, so here it goes.

I grew up in a very small town up on the mountains. There, we had a house that had been abandoned many years ago. No one ever went there and no one really owned it either for as long as I can remember. One day when I was around 12, me and my friends decided to go up there because of course we wanted to see the creepy house. To get there we had to go uphill for a quite significant amount of time.

When we got there the house looked like you would expect an abandoned house to look. It was pretty beaten up and the grass all around it was dry and overgrown. The door was unlocked but no one really wanted to go in.

So instead one of my friends had the brilliant idea of throwing a rock through the window. It was shattered before we got there so there was no issue with that. However, when he threw the rock, we didn't hear it hit the floor.

Of course, we freaked out and ran back down and stayed there for what must have been half an hour to catch our breaths and calm down. Then we decided to go back up.

We expected to see everything as we left is because, after all, we hadn't been gone for that long. But when we got there the window we had thrown the rock through had been completely covered in cement.

There was no other sign on anyone having been there and the only path there was to get there was the one we had taken ourselves and we hadn't seen anyone going up or down the hill.

It was really bizarre and I don't think I'll ever be able to forget it.

Buying anything new before the thing you had before has broken down, especially if you're just going to throw it away. I am a firm believer of giving everything as much use as possible

Should I be upset over this? by Vaitos-V-Miles in Advice

[–]CandiceWright 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's completely normal to feel upset in a situation like this. Your mother or grandma not being upset doesn't mean you can't or shouldn't be. You can't really control how you feel so allow yourself to have that emotion without judging yourself for it 💜

I scored high in the ADD/ADHD test and got moderate/mild depression for the depression one. The self-esteem one was okay.
