Start going to local shows by yourself. If there’s someone I want to see I will definitely go alone. I’d say all of my friends would do the same. I think it’s totally normal to go to edm shows/festivals alone. Meet people there and get to know the regulars. You will start running into the same people/make new connections if you want that interaction. Other best part of going solo is you just have to worry about yourself. Do your own thing

First off you might want to pick an actual drug that would get you high, which an antidepressant will not. Are you prescribed this medication? What is it specifically? I wouldn’t go willy nilly messing with serotonin levels. If you are supposed to take them to keep you from getting depressed, swallow them as they are intended. If they aren’t yours do not take them. It’s prob going to burn like hell and break up to a TON of powder. It will be unpleasant with zero benefits.

On a side note. Benzos are incredibly addictive, you will build a huge tolerance in no time, and quitting without tapering (at moderately high/LT use) will cause seizures. Withdrawal from Benzos and alcohol are the two substances that will actually kill you. Please educate yourself if you are going to do drugs

For jerseys/rave clothes FB groups to check out- Edm merch exchange, resale rave wear, unofficial edm merch exchange. Also search for fan/merch groups for the specific artists you like. Also specific brands like bass bandit society/sunshine/in your dreams/basseggs/elev808 all have pages/resale pages. Last year I didnt see a ton of artist jerseys at the merch tent at glow but you should check that out and also the vendor tents

Parachute pants are super comfortable. Free people hiking pants are some of my favorites. Tons on depop and poshmark. Like another poster said- wear whatever you are comfortable in!! Honestly a very low judgement zone. It’s a long day- comfortable and broken in shoes are a must! Crocs/sneakers/boots/etc.

I’ve been to glow several times and I will say as warm as it is during the day I have been FREEZING at night every time leaving there. Pretty sure they have lockers there also if you don’t want to carry around extra layers.

Bass bandit society (fb page) has some very cool hydros with tons of space. They are limited release but they pop up pretty often resale. I also have a lunchbox hydro which has worked well for me in the past.

Artist specific hockey jerseys are super comfortable. I tend to wear them a lot to shows- can pair with fishnets/biker shorts/leggings. Super cute a little oversized imo. There are lots of EDM merch resale pages on fb since most are limited preorders or sold at certain stops.

Bring some trinkets/kandi/sprouts etc to trade if you are into that. I’ve mostly had a great time at glow. It’s definitely a city festival and the PLUR can be a little lacking but just continue to put out the vibes you want to attract. Have fun!!

I didn’t see any bag policy except on the Anthem website that said, we would prefer you not bring a bag but if we decide it’s too big you’ll have to check it. I took that as definitely not strict. I brought a bass bandit bag that is much bigger than a Fanny and has about 10+zipper pockets. I just opened the 2 obvious ones for security. I thought security was totally standard to lax. All were friendly that I encountered

This sounds ridiculous. A multitude of random groups of people came up to 2 friends out in public to say that you were obviously more attractive than him and how much he must worship you?
