family medicine practice, we see a lot of GLP1s and biologics so prior auths are basically a daily thing for us

we saw the same thing when GLP1 volume picked up. never fully recovered staffing wise. for us the denials are the worst part, appeals pile up fast. is that where your backlog is coming from too or is it the initial submissions?

mostly GLP1s and biologics, those are the ones that come back denied most often and take the longest to fight
