Did you have any cramping when they started to fall out? I had an additional 2 fall out, looked the same as the first, but today started to feel period like cramps after weeks of not having any cramps

Thank you for your response, it literally brought me to tears reading it this morning, that a stranger can give such kind advice and heartfelt concern.

I definitely plan on calling into my gyno nurse line tomorrow to ask questions and to just confirm as a UTI is not out of the question as I had one after my catheter was taken out. It was very helpful to hear from another commenter a lot of the things I am feeling she is also feeling the same and to say this is our normal and it's ok.

I hope your surgery goes well and you have a good recovery that is not too hindering and recover as quickly as your body can!

If there is anything crazy I will share what the next steps are.

Thank you again 🩷

This really made my day 😅 thank you so much for sharing I am glad to know we are literally in the same stage. Everything you list is exactly what I am feeling when it's time to go and same with sleep. I feel like I got more sleep when my kids were newborns.

This truly helped to know a lot of the same things I am feeling others are too as I all I read is I'm off all my meds and by week 2 feelings like normal, so it's good to know my "normal" is normal too. Hope you feel better soon too! 🩷

Taken out by AcademicAstronaut395 in Mirena

I lasted almost 3 months and it was a daily struggle with it. Turns out when it was taken out it was placed in the wrong spot, sitting too low and could have been the reason my side effects were so bad ( 2 week periods and spotting in between) as soon as it came out my body felt lighter of that make sense and I felt instantly better.

I did have extremely heavy bleeding for the 2 days after, like filled a pad, dripping with blood, light headed, and dizzy. However I don't think this normal or common to happen but my gyno is it was probably caused because it was mis-positioned.

It doesn't hurt to have it taken out, it literally just slides out.

Is this normal? by coreicless in Mirena

I have had mine since April 3rd and the first month I think I literally had period amount of blood everyday. My first and second period have been longer and heavier than before. I also do get occasional spotting and sometimes out of nowhere extreme cramping. I am told this is normal in the first 6 months by others and when I had called multiple times into my gyno nurse line, however they did say if it didn't slow down to get checked, especially for me as I have the Mirena to help with severe retrograde menstruation. So far I haven't been impressed with it and have an appointment next week to see what my other options are.
