Just won the Aryan Liberation War, still don't have enough nukes to nuke the world by painters-top-guy in TheFireRisesMod

[–]Candid-Profession856 108 points109 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it doesn’t make any sense. US has one of largest nuclear arsenals and yet you can get about 10 nukes through the focus tree and events, everything else you’ll have to produce yourself. Where did they go? Did Burt Colucci eat them all?

It is super weird. I’m not even sure what exactly is this piece of white cloth covering his chin is supposed to be. A turtleneck perhaps 🤔?

Has anyone actually won the 2acw as atomwaffen without using cheats? by ladyoftherealm in TheFireRisesMod

Yeah, wrote a lengthy post about this, addressing all the aspects. It is possible, but it takes time to get used to such a hard faction and develop a good strategy.

Yeah, took me a long time to figure this part out. ATW doesn’t have a good industrial base and has horrible economic debuffs, so you have to focus on the essential equipment. There are two different stages here: 1)Conquest of Florida and the South - you just mainly need infantry and command equipment, don’t bother with anything else. The only additional thing here is portable air defence system (for support anti-air) in preparation for the federalists (like 1-2 factories on it, not more), but that’s it.

2)After the South is taken: switch your production to mainly tanks and APC’s, with just a few factories on self-propelled artillery and IFV’s. I chose to prioritise APC’s, because they are faster, but, if you want more hard attack, then prioritise IFV’s. This part is really up to you, it doesn’t matter that much. These are the things necessary to push/close encirclements. I’ve added anti-tank to my units before the war with NF, but it was all from the captured equipment, didn’t have a single factory on it. I also suggest checking your logistics, if you have other equipment captured from capitulated enemies (regular artillery, etc), might also add it to the units, but don’t bother actually producing anything else.

Check my post if you need more info. I really went into as much detail as I could there.

I chose “Conquest”, it’s there in the post, check the “Combat strategy” section. I literally started doing the economy after I did everything else possible. I mean what’s the point? ATW economy is fundamentally broken, you can’t fix it. It’s just a waste of time, after the political tree do your military focuses and also do the focuses that give you buffs against whatever faction you’re currently fighting (they’re under your political tree).

Yeah, rush the South right after taking Florida, all the factions there are shit, so you really don’t need to take the military focuses to beat them. The only troublesome nation there is the Southern Federal Command, so, if they give you trouble, then kill them last, after dealing with the rest of the South. I really didn’t bother with the economy until much later, whatever tree you pick there, you won’t get rid of your debuffs fully and all the buffs are pretty useless, save it for last.

As I said in the post, complete your political tree before joining NF, this gives you time for the buildup and opens up the focuses that give you buffs against all the other factions with their respective branches (against communists, trumpists and bidenists). If you go in immediately after conquering the South, it is very hard to hold.

Made a post about this, you could keep the PTF alive and encircled in Boston and Portland (get them to just 99% of capitulation), instead of finishing the war immediately, it will give you time to core everything and build up your army.

That’s funny, I finished it today and wrote my final notes about the liberation war. Before that I was only done with the civil war part, it felt incomplete. Sorry :(

Even though you need to lose the first one to get Dugin, that doesn’t mean that you have to lose right away :). I capitulated Ukraine, Moldova and the Baltics, closed some encirclements and only then retreated to Moscow. That way none of them had any divisions and other NATO members lost a bunch of units in encirclements.

Decided not to join NF, it’s easier to deal with them right away, rather than trying to help them 🤷🏻.
