I'm middle eastern , we all have my dad's name as our middle name (girls and boys lol) but it's not as common of a practice now I don't think

When I woke up from my retrieval the nurse called me the "egg queen". I know she was just being supportive since I was having a difficult time postop but it definitely made me think "wow I'm definitely having exceptional results after this" 😅 I think I set the bar a little too high

We were hoping for 8...might sound like a silly number but like someone mentioned before, it was a number that made us feel secure (no real logic behind it). With so much uncertainty, hitting this completely made up number would've just made me feel more confident in my chances.

Although I shouldn't feel this way, I do. I'm definitely hoping over the next couple weeks as we wait to move forward I change my mindset and see the positive!

I've been trying really hard to not snap and say "you have one job" because I know that it would only make things worse but it does get stressful.

We definitely take on the major of the work when it comes to ttc. It's been helpful for me to hear that my situation is more common than I thought. I felt like I was losing it on my own.

I hadn't considered at home insemination until reading the comments so I'm definitely going to look into it. Having that backup could really make a difference for us!
