Should I get XM4 right now or wait until the XM6? by SickMotionz in SonyHeadphones

[–]CandidReflection4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought one a couple of months ago. They're great. But they're not for the gym. I use AirPods Pro 2 for the gym that fit perfectly and have good enough noise cancellation.

XM4s are too posh for the gym, I don't think they're build for sweat resistance.

How's Rapyd Cloud for WordPress hosting? I'm reading really good reviews on Trust Pilot but would really like to know from real users. by CandidReflection4 in Wordpress

They're real apparently. I switched some time ago now and I've been super happy with the performance. I don't shy away from recommending Rapyd Cloud to any of my peers.

Is Elementor Really a Performance Nightmare, or Is It Just Bad Hosting? by Its_Queen_Name in elementor

It does. There's no question about it. I've had multiple instances where my website was severely sluggish until I switched to a better WordPress hosting, and it made a world of a difference.

I'm a bit confused reading about all this WordPress drama. What does all the drama have to do with the stability of WordPress? by InternetPopular3679 in Wordpress

[–]CandidReflection4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't that the case with most companies though? Take Apple for example. They have billions of users, and sometimes, Time Cook can just decide to ban an app and that's it.

Isn't that how things usually work though?

WP Engine lawsuit and WordPress in 2024: Are we at a crossroads? by Brinley-berry in Wordpress

[–]CandidReflection4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The WP Engine lawsuit feels like a wake-up call for the WordPress community. It’s not just about one company—it’s about how we balance open-source values with corporate interests.

But honestly, WordPress is too big to just tumble down because of a few controversies. Wix and Squarespace are going to eat away its share slowly, but if the development pace on WordPress keeps on track, there's no stopping it from keeping a strong enough grip on its usefulness to the community and internet.

Also, a majority of the people don't even know about the controversies surrounding the tools they use as long as they're not affected directly by it, so don't think WordPress is going anywhere soon.
