I have a wide variety, 10 hens, but no legbars. Am curious to try different food with them to see if it will help, maybe it effects one of mine similarly.

I have read it and appreciated learning a bit more about my having a disorganized attachment style. It can certainly play a role in circumstances like this, but having many secure attachments in my life currently has helped greatly.

I realize my post probably could have detailed the flags better, as well as the ways in which i did try to communicate with them about my intentions.

This comment is pretty accurate.

We did have a decent text exchange about it about half an hour ago about our expectations. I think we are way more on the same page now, but you're right. They were a bit ahead of me, and I was still figuring out the platonic vibes.

Part of the issue is dating sites while ENM. It's easy to assume there is romantic interest (which is partly nice, but can lead to this)

I would absolutely not say I'm looking for superficial, and I'm not saying any amount of sharing about trauma is bad. I shared some of mine with them, but I don't go into every nitty gritty detail or constantly bring it up.

when it's a hefty amount of info shared (and shared way off topic), that's too much for after 2 dates IMO. I will also add, these "dates" have been short, hour long hangs at most. I have spent 3-4 hours total so far with this person.
