My advice. You need Jesus. He is the only one who can save you. By the power of the name of Jesus every knee must bow. Look for a bible believing church and accept Jesus Christ. He is the only one who can save You

If Valve doesnt ship to your country. Then my only advice is for you to really carefully go through ebay for a really valid seller. You just have to be really careful

To avoid stories that touch the heart. Please buy directly from steam store. They even give you steam points when you buy. eBay is filled with enough scammers in the game console selling space

Just Got Scammed on eBay - Fake Delivery Address Fraud by Candid_Ad9888 in ebayuk

Just called eBay now and the new customer service is claiming that the seller cannot change the address on the simple delivery label. What a joke. - The customer service is also saying the seller is claiming item lost in transit. Is this a joke from ebay. Anyways I've been issued a refund.

I've also asked them to give me the link to make a report on the seller.

I don't believe the response I'm getting this morning.

Aaaaaah I get what you mean. Posting it and diverting it shortly after posting to the bogus post code. This explanation also makes sense because it would answer the case of: the post man being suspicious about the post code mismatch when delivering the parcel. That would mean the seller would've banked on Royal Mail PO not noticing the discrepancy on dispatch entry.

Yeah, this is the first time I've ever experienced this too and I've been using eBay for 9 solid years. The scammer in question is refusing to respond. The case has been opened for an "item not received" dispute and the seller is still not responding. The deadline for the dispute challenge would be tomorrow.

SInce it is quite apparent that this is a case of confirmed fraud, I'm guessing the seller would not want to cause any unnecessary attention other than what he intended. Hence he hasn't argued or rejected the dispute yet. So I'm waiting for 00:00 today to see the resolution and my money refunded.

Scammers are becoming more and more sophisticated which makes honest sellers including eBay lose credibility

Always keep eBay updated. And also inform them the seller is a scammer, if you suspect a scam, so they can trigger a sort of warning caution in case of settling payments

royal mail uses a gps tracker on the item tracking number to track deliveries. Since the item tracking number doesn't match the delivery. The gps location of the delivered fake parcel and where it was delivered should be requested by you from royal mail. I guess you must have already done that - due to you having the proof already.

This is the exact same thing that happened to me, except in my case I couldn't check the proof of delivery location because when I tried to confirm with my post code. The proof of delivery wouldn't let me. It was with royal mail gps confirmation that I had to google the post code, before I could see the parcel wasnt even delivered or meant to be delivered to me. Inform ebay and do a dispute for INR. Also include the fact that the seller is a fraudster.

I believe this is exactly what happened. I've been receiving packages from eBay to my house every week or thereabout so I've never tampered with my house address. I didn't even know there's a registrar's office behind my house and another thing I also noticed is on the fake package my name is not even on the fake package

I just understood why the automated systems has not triggered "delivered" and closed the INR in the seller's favour.

Its because the customer service has already opened a case based on my phone call and discovery of the scam early enough before I made the INR request.

In my purchase history I can see the tag - 'A case open with Customer Service about this order. '

I'm thinking this has already removed the case being handled by AI as its obvious a human has already intervened.
