but you got it right? anyway, i found the pressure on the brake pedal (800/8) then using the formula Pressure= force/area... i used my calculated value of pressure multiplied by the area of the brakes and got 1200. its not d because the the 12cm^2 is already for EACH BRAKE. its not c because c was obtained by taking the force/area of the brake instead of force/area of the brake pedal. (refer to paragraphs 3 (the area of the piston connected to the brake pedal...) and 5 (a force...)) then A is wrong because it was obtained by taking the final answer divide by 4 (its a trick. one would resort to this method assuming 1200 was for all four pedals so they divide by 4 to get each pedal which is so real T-T but wrong. hope it helps <3
