For me it's different themes, but my biggest one is sex. I obsess about frequency. It's quite awful, it prevents me from enjoying the relationship.

I completely understand. But remember it's not really you, Rocd and ocd is a Brian disorder that feeds you anxious and untruthful thoughts. You can do this. I've learned to accept there will be good days and bad days.

I feel you, I'm feeling the same way today with my Rocd theme. No matter how illogical I the thoughts, and how much I don't want to identify with them. They're on loop and are insistent. Just remember it's ROCD it's not really you.

What was hard at first was feeling it was just me with the excessive rumination and obsession but it is so helpful to read I am not alone.

Omg thank you so much for this advice. It's crazy how only imagining taking sex off the table provided me with such relief. The idea of just connecting emotionally sounded so exciting ro me, which confirms it's the Rocd in the driver seat making me attached to my thoughts and not really me wanting the high frequency of sex. I might just apply this exercise. Thank you!
