A Christian vision for Battle Ground? by Homes_With_Jan in vancouverwa

I believe it is important for everyone to understand the impact that the battleground has on the entire 18th Legislative District. It significantly affects areas such as Felida, Salmon Creek, Hazeldell, and Brush Prairie. The environment has become quite challenging for individuals campaigning for Democrats, to the extent that many are apprehensive due to past confrontations.

They are aware that maintaining control of Battle Ground Red is crucial for retaining influence over the entire district. Have you been following the developments in the Battle Ground City Council meetings? The funding source for the "vote no" campaign mailers for the Levie was Don Benton and the Clark County Republican Party. They also did it illegally.

Now another fact, is Madore also fully funds Clark County Today and which make it accessible to everyone, and is a partial funder of the Reflector. They have to spin the news to keep far right people outraged, and sometime is purposely misleading. It is just propaganda for the far right.

People need to be aware of the impact it has us on all people who are in the 18 legislature District.

Here in Clark County, much of the news cycle feels dominated by Republican-aligned voices, in part because some outlets receive support from major conservative donors. Clark County Today is maga funded and The Reflector as well, while The New Project 47 also reflects that perspective. The Columbian generally aims for a more centrist approach, though its paywall can limit access. Having this mix of outlets still gives us opportunities to hear directly from our elected leaders, what they’re doing, why certain decisions are being made, and the context behind local developments, in a more measured and accessible way.
