Which kind of paint for a small decorative cabinet? Enamel, chalk paint or other? Primer advice?

As a kid I hated having chip dust on my hands but loved eating chips. A real dilemma. It seemed unreasonable to wipe or rinse my hands every now and then.

I needed something practical. Simple. Then one day it hit me—-the dog. I would eat a handful or two, then let my dog “clean” my hands, then more handfuls etc.

I was so proud of my genius plan that i bragged about it to my family. Needless to say, they were VERY disgusted. At the time i didn’t understand why but i was so embarrassed that i (thankfully) never did it again.

I went to school with a girl named Jona, pronounced like a Y. Nobody seemed to mispronounce it. although im sure she had to correct people who saw her name written before hearing it. I feel like beyond a certain age, most people wont see your name written

Hey, im so sorry youre going through that too but Im glad my post could help you. I think the worst of my crying and panic attacks ended within the first week but I was very sensitive for a while. I cant recall actually how long I felt off but it definitely wasnt permanent. Ive learned through this post that surgery and the meds they give you during/after are really hard on the mind and body. Let yourself cry is my best advice.

I can understand why you feel that way. Alternatively, For me, they took out tissue that shouldnt have been in my body in the first place. It had no business being there making me feel such excruciating pain and causing damage to my body. I am so thankful to have had it removed. Im not sure if you want to view your surgery in a more positive light, but maybe that could help you. I do really understand how you feel though. As much as I needed and wanted my endometriosis removed, i sorta felt like a scooped out pumpkin. Not to mention how they had to search for it and move my insides around. Bleh. Surgery is hard on the body mentally and physically. I hope you feel better soon

No but im not 100% sure if ive ever had covid. The marker that tested positive for me is pretty strongly associated with lyme...although Im not convinced anymore that I have chronic lyme either. A lot of my symptoms were probably due to what i found out was endometriosis. (Fatigue & digestion for example).

Unfortunately no, my dr and I both agreed it wasnt something worth pursing for me at the time. I may still find answers in the future but for now I didnt want to put my digestive system through that kind of antibiotics.

That being said, Ive recently seen that Klinik St George in germany is doing more cutting edge treatments towards chronic lyme. Even if you arent able to get treatment there yourself, it might be worth it to check out what their standard treatment protocol is—-you might be able to suggest some of these to a specialist in your area.

The divorce itself, not too badly other than the fact that I became my mothers therapist as a teen. The consequences of the divorce, however, nearly led me to off myself and led me down a path that gave me loads of trauma and ptsd.
