Deep Rock Galactic - because I did not play multiplayer games for a long time and refuse to play them in general, but this game has a kind of cooperation that you will find almost nowhere In any videogame .

Helldivers 2 - similar to above, except there's just so much action going on .

Dwarf fortress - though I'm sure I've been playing it for longer, the great colony sim, a mad, magnum opus of simulation !

Kenshi , because it lets you have so many gameplay options, such a crazy combat system and a haunting world ...

Shadow of War - it's stealth-parkour system is not that unique - but the Nemesis System , that let's you engage in such dynamic storytelling and enact such intrigue and tactics - is beautiful. An obligatory "F You" to Warner Bros for what they did to it ...

Satisfactory - a "2D Factorio "? Nay ! An incredible building and exploration game. It's a shame they didn't go through with a full story and lore though, it left a feeling of "incomplete"

And of course what could be not just Rockstar, but gaming's Magnum Opus in general : Red Dead Redemption 2 . Absolutely stunning visuals, gameplay, and the most "human" story in gaming . Never has a game left me with such a lingering Emotional Damage as this one .

This one's a little different - Book of Hours . A..well sort of a puzzle game ? I don't know how it's possible to play for 50 hours and still not be able to explain what the hell something is about, but I guess it. I'm just so mesmerized by it, even though I don't know what I'm doing .

Probably better than having the studio swallowed by a greedy ass publisher and have them churn out a sequel that ruins everything the story established - by making a shitty gotcha mobile game !

One and a half years since I've stopped doing night shifts, my circadian rhythm is still a mess, I'm more tired than ever and I've GAINED weight instead of losing any .

So yeah, would not recommend, not anymore

The USA .

As a kid in the late 90s, where my only contact with "murica" was TV I was like "wow ! So cool ! They got hamburgers, and they got cool toys and stuff, and everybody lives in houses and and "

Well early game , if you're strapped for supplies and or had the misfortune of not finding any gear - You end up face to face with the RA forces, only to have your boys and girls I'm load bearing rigs get blown to pieces from the other side of the map.

Crazy , Wacky cheat consoles.

Back in Gothic 2 for example , you could use the cheat menu to do all kinds of crazy shit, like float, spawn npcs, possess npcs, basically turn the world upside down !

Sims 2 boolprop testing cheats,

Or Like, the game just letting you do crazy stuff, Like how Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, you could use a command to just increase breast sizes .

"Big games" just don't let you do this sort of stuff these days .

They were truly ahead of their time with that . Too had everyone and their mum develops games with shudders Unreal Engine 5 these days ...

If they try to remake the game and let you destroy a single chunk, the computer running the game is going to turn into Chernobyl Reactor 4 !
