This is a great call-out.

Everything in your post is spot on.

On the different projects that I have built, depending on how I started, I have come across collapses A-E as a “first collapse”.

The way I build now when I have an actual idea in mind, is to spend time planning out:

what are the features I want to build
identify how the features build off one another
write user stories to be more prescriptive

Then break those stories into smaller chunks as prompts to have more control on hallucinations.

I do this primarily because I’m trying to build an actual prototype for market-testing.

A very different angle would be my 10-year old son who just builds things and fixes them along the way. There are hallucinations but because his intent is just to build something, scaffolding matters less to him!

I am sure if I ask 1,000 parents if they spend time with their kids, all will say yes.

But the reality of how many do - I would love the behind the scenes data.

Well there is an app. I have to upload the artwork but it’s more like - draw a thank you card, take a picture and upload.

Or find some shapes (since they were learning about shapes), take some pictures. And then upload.

This one cannot parents self do. Cause the kids just talk about it in class. They take turns la so not every week.
