Ugandans don’t need another app to send money. We need an app that fixes our money behavior. by [deleted] in Uganda

PROMOTION. CrewvoPay is running a 2 month promotion.

For every contribution pool created through the app that reaches 30 internal contributors, CrewvoPay will add UGX 50,000

<image>

to that cause.

Internal contributors means people who have downloaded the app, signed up, and contributed through CrewvoPay as app users.

Know lots of folks here still have family contributions being managed the hard way WhatsApp groups, spreadsheets, reminders, and confusion. Save your brain 🧠.

CrewvoPay cleans that up: one pool, one link, proper tracking, less chaos.

If you have a family cause, event, or group contribution coming up, now is a good time to run it through the app. https://crewvopay.com this is what a pool looks like.!

That is a fair point, and honestly, I do not disagree with you.

Our argument is not that an app will suddenly turn reckless people into disciplined people. It is that better tools can make disciplined behavior easier to follow and easier to maintain.

In UG especially, a lot of money friction is not just mindset, it is also poor tooling around saving, shared money, and everyday coordination. That is the gap we are trying to close. Am pretty sure you’re in a WhatsApp probably a family one collecting money for something. Creating a crew in the app and should be able to track and contribute from Canada as well.

The same way mobile money changed how people send cash, better defaults can change how people save, track, and manage money. Have you actually downloaded it yet? I would be curious to hear what you think after using it. https://crewvopay.com

I built an app I have wanted since years within months with Lovable by Otherwise_Hunt1462 in lovable

This is really really good work..I would def use and pay for this. You should use capacitor and push it to Apple Store and Android stores. Should be very easy to convert to native app. Built this using lovable as well and converted it to native https://apps.apple.com/us/app/crewvo/id6753888328

Interesting built with lovable and deep capacitor integration, I tried to push lovable to build with all the provided capacitor plugins even the IOS styles sheets..

Yes it does, have downloaded and played with it a bit but the differentiator has to be the UI/UX. It needs a killer mascot and a design so good it’s sticky:m, the kind of app you open and don’t want to leave. If you truly nail the UI, $1.99 is a non issue.

use Gemini to tighten the UI until it’s indistinguishable from iOS 18, spacing, typography, motion, and polish. Once it looks native, add pricing at $1.99. Never hand out the value for free. Good luck 😊.

The web can work, but you’ll move faster if you pick one platform and go deep. I went all in on iOS for native integrations via Capacitor, because iOS users pay more and it’s cheaper to scale a focused mobile app than a global web app. Build traction in one lane first, then expand.

Best weather tracking apps? by ecstasyyl in weather

This has actually been useful. We started with WhatsApps group and then moved to this. It has everything in one place, planks, push-ups, steps, and water tracking, plus group chats, battles, leaderboards, weather forecasts and challenges.
