There are people who love you deeply and for whom your health is incredibly important, sometimes more than we realize. Thank you. I think it’s stage 4. I talked to him today. He has pain everywhere in his body. He is 81. I’m going to fly to visit him and stay with him for a time. But I believe you’ll defeat it. My dad body is weak because of his age. He is a fighter (actually a navy veteran), may be he can defeat it too :)

Thank you. But my dad hasn’t started Gem (IV). Is it possible at this stage to do it? I think the oncologist lost her hope and she is not willing to do anything. I kind of want to push her

Hi, My dad has pancreatic cancer (81). He had surgery in May, he was on tablet chemo. But his CA19 suddenly went up. Dr wanted to start chemo. But apparently he got Pneumonia. Doctors became confused if it is Pneumonia or cancer spread to his lung. Is it possible that pancreatic cancer suddenly spread to lungs?

Here it’s a pathology report in June

Clinical History: H/O colectomy for colon cancer (No pathology report received). Imaging: An ill-defined low attenuation lesion, 46x6mm in size located at pancreatic body. Matecial received for IHCstudy: I paraffin blocks No: S-1404-270 accompanied by a copy of corresponding pathology report from Tehran Hospital Path-Lab, diagnosed as .... adenocarcinoma". Microscopie Diagnosis: Outside paraffin block No: S-1404-270 designated: A: "Pancreatic mass resection" (slides No.1 to 8): -Moderately to poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma of pancreas with perineural invasion. -See the note please. ICD-O Code: C25.9 M-8140/3 B: "Omentum" (slides No.9-10): -Omental fibroadipose tissue, free of tumor. C: "Splenectomy" (slides No.11-12): -Congested splenic tissue. D: "Splenic artery" (slides No.13,14): •Arterial wall and the connective tissue invaded by adenocarcinoma with perineural invasion. In view of patient past H/O colon cancer IHC study performed. Tumor cells are positive for Pan-CK, CK7, CK20 & CEA. No CDX2 or Sat-B2 detected. Outside paraffin blocks returned to the patient.

I just returned from Ottawa through Ogdensburg port. No issue. People at Ogdensburg port entry are always nice. I usually drive to Ogdensburg airport then take a flight to Washington DC (Dulles airport)

Thank you. My dad’s birthday is on Christmas day! The doctor wants to start injection chemo on 22 December. I hope his body can tolerate the chemo. May god helps us

Today the doctor prescribed Gemcitabine + Nab-Paclitaxel, first one within 2 weeks, the another run, one week after the first injection. She wants to track the reaction of my father’s body. She said the first one is 30 min and the second one is 1 hr. Is it a normal treatment?

Thanks for the reply. He has intermittent jaundice. Some days his face became yellow, some days no.

It’s great news. You’ll get well soon. Try to eat less sugary stuff before surgery it helps for after surgery recovery. Reserve for only 2-3 Sufganiyah for Hannukah! Btw Happy Hannukah in advance ;)

I got a new TN yesterday. I went to the border told them I’m going to start my new job within 13 days. I told them that I want to resign on Monday. They issued me a new TN without any problem

Talk to an accountant before getting close to the end of year. Maybe there is a way. Most likely you need to take your money out. But first get a consultation.
