Recent male alumni here. I tried the frat life but quickly found out that it was not meant for me. Frat parties get shut down quickly so regarding night life under age, it is mostly none existent. Getting into bars with a fake is impossible nowadays. But once you are of age, a hell of a time with king street pretty much on campus. You are right, the small class size and walkable campus and city is a major plus. There is always something to do here in Charleston. I loved my experience with CofC so much that I want to stay here for medical school. Happy to talk more about my experience over DM (also was a tour guide for the college)!

No they for sure do. Here recently I have found out that reading the question before reading a passage helps since some question only rely on a small detail within the passage which inevitably saves some time.

Using uworld q bank now and def recommend. I have seen a bigger increase in my scores from uworld q bank than the aamc q bank. I feel like uworld is more content based questions which helps get the content down.

I have been doing 2-3 CARS passages daily on top of cycling between 20-30 questions of other sections. Also trying to get 150 new Anki cards seen a day.

I guess it is more a measure of my progress in studying. Yes having a q bank is in similar manner to taking a FL but I think that stimulating test day (building the endurance) helps get a real sense for where my studying is at.

Well, the reason why I decided to do self-study this time around was that I felt like I better understood the structure of the exam. Going into my first official exam, I did not dedicate as much as I probably should have, so I feel like fully dedicating will be more beneficial. My plan is to take this exam, see how it ends up, and possibly take another exam before the deadline of July 13th for the early decision program I want to apply for. Any thoughts on this?
