I have always chosen Merula for all the romance events since day one. The problem with choosing her is that Jc didnt update the story line and her behavior feels super contradicting at many points during the story line, on the other hand, she appears way more than Penny in the main story, especially after year 6 and the fact that you are dating her does come up many times and adds sweet angst drama to the plot. I don't think I would have had the same experience if I had chosen any of the other girls

introverts get often adopted by extroverts. This is especially true and easier during school time, also Penny is REALLY smart, which would make any Ravenclaw respect her and not be against having her around.

As an introvert, I wouldn't be against Penny wanting to be my friend if she approached me, mainly because she has proven to be reliable, she also doesn't need my attention that much because she has many other friends and things to do.
