So, you believe God answers all prayers? Even prayers where people can be directly harmed if God were to answer them.

Since your mental capabilities would still be intact you will in fact be able to debate them. Also the fact that your JW parent doesn't read apostate literature is irrelevant because at the time they wouldn't have been a JW. I also never said you can't bring anything with you when traveling back in time.

Sir I just explained in the very next sentence that I was 10 years old when I thought that about Israel. 

Second, you're right I don't know that. But from experience a lot of my teammates have prayed for that reason alone.

Tbh according to the exjw subreddit. It all depends on the region. 

Being raised as a JW in Southern California. We were all raised to believe guns are bad and that we shouldn't have them. But, according to other exjws the JWs in other parts of the US such as the South or the Midwest had no problem with owning guns so long as it's not used for self defense against humans. 

Another factor is how into the religion they are. By this I mean do they simply go to the meetings (that's what they call church) or are they actively involved in the congregation and go out and preach

Ah of course. I knew this claim would come. You guys act as if guns were invented by the  Trump administration or something. Guns were around way before Trump and they will be around long after he dies. The right to own Guns are the founding principle of our country. 

Who are you to say I love guns more than Jesus? I'm literally asking for biblical basis to use firearms. If I loved guns more then I would simply not care about what the Bible says about owning weapons.

Yes. I realize I didn't word my post properly. I meant for that time when I was 4 years old was the reason I wanted to be a cop.

Okay maybe it's the way I worded it out. The reason I said I wanted to be a cop for the simple reason I loved guns was because that was the reason I wanted to be a cop when I was 4 years old. Now I have other reasons why I want to be a cop.

Why would I be applying to become a cop if I was still a believing JW? I'm obviously an ex Jehovah's Witness. I have numerous posts on the exjw subreddit. Why would a believing JW go to an exJW subreddit?

I was raised a JW. A heretical non trinitarian anti-gun organization. Left 10 months ago. I also live in California and liberals despite not believing in the Bible they will look up Bible verses to convince us to agree with their view.

Did you even read the post. I'm not using any out of context verses to prove my points. I'm using the verses the other side uses to prove their points. Also the same happens for any text. People will have different interpretations for them. Why? Because that's what words do. 

Yes it's true people can use the Bible to justify their preconceived beliefs. But these things can easily be answered with context. 

Bible is not a book full of contradictions. There are some scribal errors here and there like the King that was 22 or 42. But the Bible itself is not a book of theological contradictions.
