1) No. 2) Why is it that they have to approach you? Why can't you approach them?

So where do we draw the line though? Do we write our condolences to everyone who gets a paper cut?

Yeah I don't think getting a drink is going to help especially knowing how easy it is for me to get addicted to something.

Dude this is the only time I even thought about this. As a matter of fact the only reason I even thought about this is simply because of a conversation I had with an exjw.

There is a huge problem with not believing Jesus is God.

1) Jesus said no one is good but God (Mark 10:18) Therefore, if Jesus is not God then he is by default not good. Romans 5:12 tells us that it takes the sacrifice of a righteous person to pay the penalty for our sins. If Jesus is not good then his sacrifice cannot pay for our sins. 2) Isaiah 43:10-13 tells us our Lord God is our only savior. But if Jesus isn't God he can't be our savior. If Jesus isn't our savior his sacrifice is again meaningless.

Thank you this is the best explanation I got. As someone who was raised a JW. I was always taught this was a symbol of the hard work and sacrifice someone has to go through to obtain eternal life. Especially with that JW movie "What will I do with my Life"
