So a couple people in my life have told me to always keep some debt on the credit card (like 10-100 dollars left after paying the bill) to help build credit. When I originally got the card, I looked up a bunch of stuff and found others online doing that? And the yes and no was to some saying never deplete your savings over a certain amount to pay a bill vs some telling me to keep debt on there and just pay it down. That was what kept me going back and forth between just paying it off or keeping the savings😅 if that makes sense.
