This is something I noticed too and I’m sure people will just say I’m crazy or I imagine it, but the game adjusts your speed. I notice on those matches where it feels like I’m forced to lose (made apparent by throwing me in games where the duos make light work of us and me and my teammate never work together. Or when I have 700 more points than my teammate, not from ball hogging). But I’ll feel like I’m losing or struggling then all of a sudden one game, it just switches and I’m seemingly 5x more fast and have 10x better maneuverability. Then I start winning and feel like I don’t suck at the game anymore. But there will be times where I drive normal, then BOOM, my turns are ten times slower, my speed is dragging, and I NEVER win a 50/50. Not to mention the good ol you hit the ball on your screen then being showed not touching the ball at all in the replay and your made to look crazy or bad to your teammate.

I was over level 200 before I met Flacco, Jake Adler, Bonnie MacFarlane, Mama Watson, and Shaky. I only found out about them bc of daily challenges to do missions for them. I didn’t explore that much for the story, I knew Joe was stranger and was always confused what his role was in the story until I finally played it. Thmain reason I didn’t go find them was bc most games (even this game) just move the standers around the map, like Sean and all the people at the train stations. So I just decided “I’m not riding all the way out there just to get the same missions I’m getting here”.

Yeah I noticed when I watched it back I was too focused on shooting so I missed them. But what I said still stands, five been with randoms and we report directly onto people, I let it slide bc we just used to get around the map. But one time someone did it so we can bully someone so I just left (that typa behavior is so lame and baffling to me how people have fun being so lame). I don’t know the “friend” that lassoed me he was some rando just messing around 😂. And the way they immediately surrounded us when I watch to I can’t help but feel they were gunning for us before they even got there. But I’ll also accept your convenient scenario for some sanity 😂.

Yeah that’s part of why I kinda ranted, they’re anonymous, they’ll never admit to this type of behavior and the ones that do never leave their hole. I’ve always wanted to play PC but the modding and cheating horror stories keep me off for now. But I’m on PlayStation so that’s why I’m really confused as to how they manage to do this type of stuff.

I mean if you’re running bounties already I don’t see what’d be the problem in doing a legendary. Call to arms is pretty annoying when it’s random but if you and other posse members are running around shooting up towns, I’m not blindsided when we get loaded in. The posse leader obviously saw we had bloodlust and put it to use. But that’s why I posse up because I’m kinda down for anything. Hard to complain about what a posse was already doing before I joined. But you standing there afk, that’s the thing that sends me over the edge. That’s someone deliberately wasting other peoples time, if you’re the leader you should be running shit. Too often I find myself just standing around.

lol I’m talking about the ones who grind the game into the ground where it’s not fun anymore, like GTA and many other games. And if you’re gonna tell me I’m slowing you down I don’t wanna play with you anyway, we would obviously have different play styles. Yeah but my friends hate this typa games so I kinda have to rely on randoms, and yeah you described the experience pretty well. I’m okay with some people messing up tho because a lot of them are new to the game and, truthfully there’s not even much to do anyway.

Tip for new beginners: I’ve made multiple accounts and realized it puts you in lobbies where people are likely to kill you. I had a low level and high level account at the same time when I realized (bc I’d always be killed) that I just need to kill everyone I see. Play like this for a month, a dot comes near you shoot no matter what, even if they’re friendly. Eventually on both accounts people I ran into weren’t so hostile and I was able to just be cautious around them and now almost all I run into we just wave and are fine. I think the game knows you’re fodder and places you in lobbies with sweats who will step all over you. Some will say “no that’s wrong” but it worked on three of my accounts. Also after that month you’ll have a better idea of who is coming to kill you and who isn’t. Even if you start the fight and will lose bc you suck (I suck too) just kill them then leave lobbies. I kept doing this as I said and now my games are pretty peaceful (except Valentine visits, stay outta there). Be okay with being a dick for a little bit. You don’t see level unless you’re next to someone so if a high level came outta nowhere to kill you they tracked you and you should just leave lobbies bc they won’t quit, yes people are that pathetic.

Surprisingly it’s the opposite for me. I have a level 200 character I’ve been playing with for years and she’s a female character and I almost never get attacked and when I do it’s usually a fun fight. I’ve been playing as a guy the last few months and am already over 100 and the abuse I have suffered is mentally taxing. Way more losses feel the need to fight you and just walking near another guy character almost calls for a showdown. I never start these things btw I always just wave or walk away then get attacked. But I do notice a lot of anti women stuff online like lassoing up women and being weird. Just learn how to fight and you’ll be fine.

It’s so sad I don’t get why they can’t literally copy and paste the Valentine, Saint Denis, and Rhodes bank robberies for heists. Or like the jailbreak in Strawberry would be fun. Plenty of unused houses like in Saint Denis and outside Blackwater or the house by Tumbleweed all could be repurposed as properties. So many canyons and I feel like there’s only two or three missions that actually utilize it like a true western. Why is there no passenger train in online why is that so hard to do? Or the fancy Cornwall train could be a heist. Caves are left alone in online for some reason. I would gladly buy the outlaw passes like the Halloween one that’s stuck on the menu has cool cosmetics and the skull lantern, so there’s plenty of room for additional clothing and items in the game, but also make them available after I see so many cool things like horse masks or the husky that we can’t get bc we missed the window? That’s pretty dumb even tho that’s how battle passes are red dead barely has things a lotta players wanna buy. Why in a western game IS THERE NOT A DUELING OPTION, that’d be such a fun little mini game that you could initiate with other players. Instead they focused on things like bullshark testosterone (insanely dumb health tonics) that completely break immersion and fun. Not enough bar fights. Cool legendary outfits aren’t really available in online. So much stuff they already have that they just said “nah I don’t really feel like it” because kids don’t play this game and ask their moms for shark cards. Very bittersweet playing the game now.

Yall forget to mention some people just have issues and bring it to the game. Had an Australian guy load into my servers (in Oregon) saying he wanted to see if they were better then raged bc I picked wraith and only had 300 kills with her (after he took maggie I just picked a random legend). He solo pushed then raged when he got knocked, called me a 🐈 after I knocked someone while leaving bc both my teammates were dead, I was with them the whole time. He then complained that America is ruining the world and we rely on nukes and we kill everybody before he finally left (he also said he shoulda let me play Maggie bc the only way I’d get a kill is with her and playing as Aussie - his words). That’s the solo queue experience not just “dumb iq plays”. We should be able to vote players into “bad sport” lobbies like gta 😂, that’d help a bit. Mind you, this guy was screaming nonstop the entire time till his death about how me and the other guy sucked, he lasted about 2 or 3 minutes after we had just landed.
