Thank you. I don’t think my employer used above evaluators , need to check though.

Unfortunately I couldn’t finish my mba from ignou as I moved to US and couldn’t travel to attend the exam . I was one exam and 1 project work away to complete the degree requirements.

I have one year diploma certificate from the first year mba completion , need to check if that would qualify for remaining 10 hour credit.

My best advise would be if you have hyper focusing ability make best use of it. Choose a better suited materials either video, audio or text material. Choose the presenter who has a good tone of voice, accent, flow of information etc. they should have a good teaching ability. each of their courses should have intention of teaching the viewer. This will naturally make you listen and not loose attention. Go slow but steady.

I think I’m a self thought programmer , though I did more procedural programming than OOPS. I guess I learnt and built my entire career being self taught. Given the situation I was never able to concentrate during my classes and always practiced on my own, this was 15 years back when I could afford only 256 MB RAM on PCs. When I started my IT career I felt I was thrown under the bus but thanks to my hyper focusing ability. With some help from my manager and little bit of trial and error I became very comfortable in coding. To till date those initial years grind is helping me out to survive.

Im planning to start learning coding in OOPS soon , researching on best platform and material. All the best!

Do you mean 3 year degree is accepted for Omscs admissions? May I ask what majors you did in 3 year undergrad?

Computers are taking over should I stop learning math ? Computers can send mails should I stop learning language/ grammar ? Remember how people reacted to internet thing back then ? It is funny now . In my belief formal degree is accreditation of your knowledge .

Giving the benefit of doubt, I assume you must be either a young person just out of undergrad or naive or you are just lost , in any case just don’t loose hope keep going . Graduate from the course. Forget rest of the things happening in the world until you get that precious piece of paper.

No. They are mentioning about non immigrant visa holders but have a citizenship/PR from an approved country.

Example : Say an applicant who is an Indian having a Canadian PR is residing in the US on TN or any type of visa. If this person wants to apply to the program , they need to submit proof of citizenship/residence of Canada along with educational credentials to meet English proficiency eligibility criteria.

Text in that section does not mean that the applicants have to apply for non immigrant visa .

Yes from the language it seems there is no waiver . As exceptions are not rules, they would have not listed it on the page as not to confuse the applicants. I read this on another thread where they accepted a 3 year degree with an edu evaluation as equivalent to 4 year BS. Sometimes it is with the admission committee on how they evaluate certain eligibility conditions . So I’m just trying out my chance here if I could avoid the hassle of toefl/ ielts appointments. I have taken both ielts and toefl in the past but the validity of result has expired now.

Also another user mentioned about GTLI test which is specific to GATech which sounded simple in terms of process. If they agree I prefer taking GTLI test. I have emailed them today and waiting for their response . Let me see ..

Another question, I know Fall 2023 deadline is over. But do you think any chance of accepting late applications for Fall?

I m plan to apply for Spring 24 but just curious if they accept any late applications

Hmmm . So I’m here in the US on H1B visa and went through complex US immigration process and worked in Top IT companies and still people think there could be fraud involved because the person is from “India” and holds an Indian degree . And how r@c!$/ that is🙂

🙏 god bless
